"Spacious room; very good breakfast, including eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms each morning. Also pastries, yogurt, chia pudding, fruit, toppings,etc. They had an awesome Nespresso machine that allowed you to select just coffee or your coffee with milk, so I had a flat white coffee each morning. Located in the CBD, close to shopping and many restaurants and only a couple of blocks walk to the Salamanca Market! "

"The room we were in was modern and very spacious. I think it was originally two rooms that had been combined so there was a lounge which was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was is in a great location, not far from the city and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. The food at the Hotel (pub) downstairs was pretty good and the 20% discount for guests was great. There were some negative as well. 1. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. There was hair in the corner of the shower screen. 2. The shower pressure was terrible. 3. The bed sagged a bit so wasn’t comfortable. 4. All the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. There aren’t many stairs but if you have heavy luggage, it’ll still be a bit of a challenge. "

"This was my second time staying at the property on my Tasmania trip. Excellent location to the harbour and all the area has to offer. Shopping is also close by! The staff were very helpful, and I was able to leave a bag for a couple days when I was off doing Photography workshop!"

"The staff (particularly front desk) were fantastic and could not have done more to be helpful and entertaining. Our room (a superior one) was dark and did not have enough light either natural or lighting. The bathroom was great, modern but in the style of the hotel. The carpets were worn and didn’t give the best impression. Bar is popular early, but don’t expect a nightcap after 10 - even at weekends. Location is great and history is fascinating. Not sure it was worth over $300 a night excluding breakfast though. "
