"The hotel is a located inside a converted house. Everything looks very traditional, complete with low ceilings, sliding doors, mat covered floors and futons. The dorm slept four, which I though was tight, but it seems to work well enough that I slept quite well both nights. My futon had two layers and although I like a firm mattress, I did think it was quite sore on my back the 1st night. Common areas include the kitchen, cafe and lounge. "Basic hostel, very good for the price. Loved being able to sleep on a futon on the tatami mats. Only negative was there didn't seem to be any hot water for the shower at night, but given the heat, maybe this was not such a bad thing. The host, Mu, was lovely."
