"Overall, my experience was okay. Upon arrival, I noticed flies in the bathroom, and the room did not appear to be as clean or sanitary as expected. The pool water also did not look very clean.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I requested room service, and they did a good job. Overall, the experience was average, but there is room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness and sanitation."

"Nice spacious rooms and bathrooms with a pull out wood chair that is used for the large vanity in the bathroom.
Minor issue is the printer wasn’t working and when they told me to email the docs and they would print it but was then told they were out of paper and told me to try again tomorrow when supplies were delivered."

"I have stayed here a few times in the past couple of years. The price is reasonable and the location is great!
The staff was very helpful, but the room was a disappointment. The toilet was dirty, the sink had gnats coming out of it (the basin around the plug had a black ring), and the beds were very uncomfortable.
In all fairness, these have not been problems in my previous stay, but this trip was 4 nights long!"

"Very impressed with this property, we were on our way from SF to San Diego, thought we would stop off at Oxnard for a day or two to unwind. Great property, super clean and convenient, well run breakfast and coffee bar. Awesome space to walk the dog and very quiet. Thanks to the maintenance guys who fixed our AC just before the weather turned super hot. Now we are in SD and wish we had found a Staybridge Suites nearby. Thanks so much for getting our trip off to a great start!"

"We went to Camarillo to attend a wedding over the weekend with two other families. We all stayed at this hotel and found the hotel lacking. All of us had problems with the showers, water went from cold to warm back to cold while showering. Breakfast was basically very limited for those who were willing to wait for one person who manages that area. The carpets in the rooms and hallways were way overdue for a good cleaning. We will not be staying at one of these hotels again."

"Everything was fine. Some of the staff were super, some were asleep or focused only on the computer screen with no eye contact to the guest walking in front of them. The carpet in our room was a bit sticky. Mike who checked us in was great. The breakfast man overseeing the dining room had a very warm smile and made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable."
