Breakfast was ok, the staff were responsive once I had pointed out that some of the food needed replenishing, eg fried eggs, ham and cheese. The bed was very comfortable but the TV was poor and remote had no battery cover and batteries kept on getting dislodged. Also, the TV and aerial were not plugged in when I arrived. "The food in the restaurant was very good-nicely cooked. The room upgrade was very good too, with views over Bute Park. What was not so good was having to shower in the bath-no walk-in shower..very tricky for an 80 year old like myself..we had tried for a disabled room, but none were available for both the nights we were there. I think one should be warned about this-outdated and unexpected."

"Good hotel about 10mins walk from Cardiff Bay. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast seemed to be good quality plenty of choice and always topped up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking in Cardiff was a bonus. Only slight gripe was the noise from the dual carriageway behind the hotel. "
