"The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in a fab location very central to Holmfirth.
We were a little worried that it would be a little too noisy with it being above a pub, which would have been our own fault for booking a room over a pub! However, we didn't get in ourselves until around 11.30pm and the noise soon stopped after that.
The breakfast was lovely, served in a nice, relaxed room above the bar.
Holmfirth itself was really nice with nice shops, cafes, daytime bars, cobbled...

"Staff on checking in were polite and dhowed us toom and facilities.
Room was small , clean but personally it wasnt eorth the price we were charged. Booked breakfast but was informed it wasn't available until 8.30am and ee had to leave earlier than that do even thought id osud extra gor breakfast and fid inform thrn upon arrival, we werent offered reductions."

"It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning.
Comfortable table and internet.
I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night."

"Was travelling by myself for two nights for an event in Hebden bridge. This hotel was cosy and welcoming and the staff were all very helpful. The food was really good with a varied menu, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"It's not clear that the kitchen is shared, in the advertising. A kettle in the room would be a basic improvement, instead of a journey downstairs. Bathrooms need an upgrade. Soap dispensers are broken, for example.
However, staff were helpful and it was surprisingly quiet, despite the house being on the ring road. The location was OK for a 15 min walk to food ETC"

"The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops."
