"I needed a place to sleep as my neighbor was playing overly loud obnoxious music. I found a room at the Motor Lodge, and hopped in the car. Place was lovely, quiet and clean. I was only there long enough to sleep, but it was exactly what I needed! I highly recommend this place if you are travelling through the Carson Valley!"

"The room was really dirty. Entry was covered in sticky stuff on wall and floor. Desk and table had sticky mess and drink rings. Behind the bed on lights more sticky stuff. Cheese that was old was wrapped in a rubber band on the floor. The drawers on the dresser would not close and stayed open a foot taking people out when they walked by. Shower was coming out of the wall and a dirty towel was stuffed in the hole to keep it in. Furniture and pillows on chairs were dirty with stains. We...

"The room was okay. Pillows very thin. I had tiny bugs in the bathroom which I informed the person in the office. He said he would let his pest control people know. That didn’t help me out any. There is a portable heater provided to make the room warm(er), which seemed odd for a motel/hotel to have."

"I think it’s a great quaint motel right before you hit the busy zones of Tahoe and right outside Tahoe Valley campground. The property is family owned and very well maintained. The room is clean and nice and has all the basics you need. I really loved the lighted bathroom mirrors. Parking was plenty plus easy to park a truck. "Stayed here for 4 nights and it exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect and the room was very nice and updated! We stayed in the sunset tower so it was very convenient being right by the parking lot so it was easy in and out. My only complaint was that one of the elevators was out of order, but other than that everything was perfect!"

"They had to have me stay across the road in the older part of the place. Black topping the main building the next day so the parking was bad. The room and the hallway stonk. Old furniture. The place is in poor shape."

"Nothing unique. Motel room appeared not properly cleaned, drapes coming down, only 2 light fixtures (both on the same side of the bed). The bathroom was dirty, the mirror had toothpaste spots on it (I wiped off with a napkin I had), shower curtain had a hairclip from previous patron and there was a grocery bag under the sink with what looked like clothes and a post-it note stating "this is not my stuff" Kimberly. "The property was under construction and the pool in the gym are completely closed. Throughout the stay they woukd rerouted us to take different stairwells. It felt like chaos."

"Heater was broken, took 4 different ppl to finally come fix it only for it to break again. Manager moved us to a different room but we spent the first 2 nights in the cold. At the new room, someone was smoking in the hallway and it seemed into our room. I called the front desk and they said thanks for letting us know and did nothing about it. For how much I paid I am upset about my experience. (Oh and you have to pay extra for parking!) Im not coming back here."

"The two tiered hot tub was excellent. Room are quite big and roomy. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Very enjoyable stay. Element Restaurant right next door."
