"Will not recommend staying this hotel for fee reasons:
1) we specifically asked for a quiet corner romm yet they gave us one that was opposite the housekeeper room. Every morning we were awoken by their housekeepers moving the trolley around.
2) housekeeping for this hotel strangely started at 8am, waking guests up. Normal hotel is after 10am.
3) room service was horrible - it was either not answered or we had to hold for a long time.
4) the do not disturb sign was strangely turned on (and we were not informed). This resulted in I room service. When we called the reception to ask why there was no room service, the lady on the phone asked if we expected daily room service? Which hotel staff asked such question - isn’t this the obvious? When the housekeeper and another staff turned up at our room, they then told us the do not disturb sign was turned on and daily room service was as a result missed.
5) the hotel carpet reeked for pee smell.
6) we asked the hotel staff during check out for our terminal as it was not stated clearly. The male staff replied - maybe terminal 1!!!! I had to ask him to double check and it turned out to be terminal 2.
Will not stay back at this hotel ever again. Called themselves 5 stars. This is more reflective of 1 star."
"The hotel is conveniently located with many local restaurants/ shops nearby. Conveniently travel to various attractions by walking or by taxi. The staff are friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is a good touch."

What are holiday rentals like in Houjin?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Houjin. Holiday rentals feature extras like laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can provide a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive option for a family getaway.
