"If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong."

"I liked the proximity to the river front park for swimming and walking. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The workout room was the most updated part of the old hotel. The rooms are also updated. Walking through the hallway, it is like going back to the 1980's."

"Checked in on Friday afternoon, went to dinner and came back to discover that there was no cold water in our room. Went to bed thinking it would be better in am. It wasn't, the water was so hot that taking a shower was miserable. Had early baseball game, so when we return I went to front desk to inform them and they sent the maintenance person to our room. He informed us of the new upgrade to tank water system and there were issues with 3 other rooms and he couldn't fix it and had no solution....

"Hotel is under construction police were there because a women's stuff was stolen from the hotel room smelled like cat piss they moved us at 12am to another room called us early in the morning and said they wanted to move us again the manager was not empathetic at all and wanted actually charge us extra we left a day early because we couldn't take it anymore aaaallll while on our father's day weekend and to top it all off they charged us for the night we weren't there so we r in dispute now....

"I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The pool and spa were nice and well-kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again."

"Our room was located on bottom floor. Between the noise from guest above us and city noise, we didn't sleep very well. They only offer coffee in the lobby. They did offer breakfast before covid. It would be nice to bring it back. Our mini fridge was stuck on freeze mode and almost froze my insulin before I saw it had been turned all the way up! In the bathroom the toilet was low to the ground causing a trip to the toilet an experience. When taking a shower, water temp very nice, but the shower...

"The room was clean and priced in the $100 ish per night which is was I was looking for. Breakfast was your standard scramble eggs, bacon & waffles , average but there were no surprises."

"The rooms smelled bad like ass or something.. had to buy lysol which only helped a little.. its more of a rest stop place or a place if you have a pet..The staff was very accommodating and nice though"
