"Staff was very quick during check in. The room was very clean and well maintained. Everything worked well, but the TV was hard to figure out. Directions would have been helpful. Good sized room, nice desk and chair, and everything one would expect in a room. Clean bathroom and mirror area. The parking area was easy to use, and felt very safe. Little to no traffic noise in the night, and the heater in the room was quiet, too. Breakfast was great! A great place to stay in Mitchell!!"

"The room was exceptionally clean, had a full size refrigerator, a small electric stove, and more. The hotel is pet friendly, has a picnic & grill area, and is around plenty of restaurants and stores. I wish they had hotels like this in Illinois!"

"-The one bed squeaked terribly EVERY time you moved. -The bathroom tiles were filthy, and broken -The shower had hair all over it -The coffee maker looked like it was growing a science project. "

"We showed up a little before midnight and nobody was at the desk, we rang the bell several times, no answer. There was a phone number to call and the guy who answered had me walk behind the desk and he talked me through creating my own room key. The next morning, nothing had been made for breakfast, just the turnstile cereal containers. We didn't see one one staff person the entire time we were there."

"On our 6000 mile (so far) road trip this was the least pleasant stay we’ve had. It also had the highest Expedia rating. Weird. It’s a worn out motel that has had some repairs and upgrades, but haven’t kept up with the aging process. It did have a clean, comfortable king sized bed and the motel was quiet so we slept well. It stated that they had continental breakfast, but actually they had hard boiled eggs, homemade biscuits and gravy, and a waffle maker in addition to cereal and bagels. "
