"Excellent stay, very nice room, extremely friendly staff"

"This hotel had all the amenities advertised, available and in good order. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was lots of choice for breakfast from cereal and toast, cooked eggs and bacon to make your own mini waffles. Coffee was great. The town of Eureka was great and the Friday Night Street Market had good entertainment as well as a choice of local produce stalls. Only wish we were staying another night."

Next thing we know three more people showed up so we think they got our room because then we were stuck with a handicap room for 5 days. "Because of the Marathon thru the Avenue of the Giants was this weekend, it was very hard to find a room. This was the only place available and even though the rates were extremely high, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and staff. the early breakfast was an added benefit before we hit the road to the Redwood National Parks. I would stay there again if in the area. Front desk staff was very helpful."

Our room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, and the entire inn had a warm, elegant Victorian ambience that made it feel like stepping back in time.
