"This is my third time staying at the Old Bell. The first time was with work and the second two times with husband and two children when we took part in local triathlons. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and the beer garden is fantastic with great games for the kids .like chess and jenga. The hotel is about a 10 Min walk to the river Thames where people were paddle boarding and enjoying the water. Love this hotel!!"

"Wanted to have a drink on balcony overlooking weir unable to do so as we were not booked into restaurant.Very disappointed as the restaurant was empty staff unable to resolve issue.Hotel was shabby and not of the standard I would expect for a 4 Star Hotel .Room was not air conditioned and smelt of damp in need of a update."

We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. "New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby.
