Called down to the front desk, was greeted with sincere apologies, a new room was immediately assigned, and they came up to my old room with the new room key... and carried my luggage to the UPGRADED new room... Love the white glove service, will definitely stay again!"

"The Conrad is overrated. When it opened a couple of decades ago, it was the talk of the town, perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Indianapolis. It had really rested on its laurels and lost its glamour. The rooms definitely need refreshing and updating. The sauna, steam room, and swimming pool are still top."

"As a frequent traveler, I plan to go back to the hotel. I had an excellent waiter Geoffrey that was very friendly and efficient. The food , room accommodations were excellent.The only thing is you must call ahead of time to reserve a table for the breakfast/ brunch. My suggestion to the front desk is to ask during check in is whether you want to dine there and if so ,to make a reservation. Also, to let people know if there is an event nearby due to changes for pickup for rides, such as an Uber....

"The location was very nicely situated only a block from the Soldiers and Sailors monument in downtown Indianapolis and it was convenient to everything. If you’re OK with an older building and don’t wish to use a hot tub, this would be a great place."
