"This hotel was unique. Interesting combo of an older building, similar decor to the movie The Shining, funky-fun art, and very large room and bathroom. We had a drink at the bar which was good. They use actual metal room keys..fun. We did run into a problem with parking. The hotel is in the same parking lot area as the train. Train people aren’t allowed to park so luckily there was a spot open when we arrived. In the morning 2 cars were blocking our car in. One was the receptionist who said...

"Lovely hotel with views of the firth, welcoming, warm and helpful staff, a delicious dinner and a comfortable bed. They went above and beyond and gave us a ride to the airport the next morning! Highly recommend!"

"We stayed in one of the Bear Huts. Although I'd seen the photo, I did not think it was going to be as cramped inside as it was. It's certainly not big enough for two people. The large and very comfy bed was fitted over storage space and was so high up my husband had to help me up onto it in a very ungainly manner. Definitely needs a step up of some sort. All the storage units had noisy bolt lock fastenings. Getting the boiler working for hot water in the shower was a work of art. The hut door...

"This is a roadside hotel that is almost a theme park. I loved it. It is getting a little tired in some areas and in our family room the furniture didn't quite entirely fit in the room but it was comfortable, clean, the breakfast was great, and you can get a pretty good view over Loch Ness while you eat it."

"This was an amazing stay. Excellent, clean rooms, and the courtyards were relaxing. You will seldom encounter such a warm and inviting hotel staff, from the desk, to the bar/restaurant, to the in-room service. Location is perfect. Slightly away from city center so it’s quiet, but, located right on the river, the walks into town are short enough to enjoy multiple times per day. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an upscale experience in Inverness."

"Clean, small room. Flat pillows, thin walls-could hear the person next room snoring. Breakfast doesn’t start til 8 on weekends, so not useful for an early flight. It is close to the airport which is why I picked it"
