"The property is quaint and charming with a super friendly staff. Breakfast is made to order with a smile. My only critique: my partner and I are both 6 feet tall and we unfortunately booked a room at the top with a downward sloping ceiling at multiple places. My fault for not better reading the description. Now you know. Come and enjoy yourselves. "

"Room was clean but some furnishings were old, tired. Toilet was too small for an adult. Staff was courteous and helpful. They said the rooms were being updated but we happened to be in one that has not been updated yet."

"We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,...
