"We stayed here for two nights as a couple. The location was excellent and the room was clean, which we appreciated. However, there were several issues that would prevent us from staying here again. The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. There was only a fan, which was simply not adequate given the climate and time of year, making the room very uncomfortable. Another issue is that the property appears to be a flat that has been divided into multiple rooms. The soundproofing is...

"A good, but basic hotel. Perfect location for exploring the old town and right next to the beach and bars etc. Staff were excellent and provided lots of helpful eating and sight seeing suggestions."

"I'll start with the good. Pension Iturrizza is in a superb location in San Sebastian's Old Town. It's on a quiet side street near a church, very close to excellent dining (which is everywhere) and steps from the dock, beach and aquarium. It's hard to imagine finding something so convenient for what is a very good price. If all you want is a place to drop your bags and have a place to sleep, go for it. You probably won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't give more than three stars for two...
