"Charming stay in a beautiful, classical manse in Bayeaux in the Normandy region. Though not in Bayeux town, the location is convenient for a full-day D-Day experience (my reason for visiting). The owner recommended a great place for dinner and provided home-made apricot and red currant confitures, both lovely with croissants and breads."

"Valerie was very accommodating with any questions we had or for giving us tips such as when our train was cancelled and we had to get a taxi to Caen.
It was nice to have breakfast waiting for us in the morning when we had an early tour and she always had a homemade dessert.
It’s a simple lodging and the location is perfect."
