"Passé une nuit, accueil très convivial, les hôtes mettent tout de suite à l'aise, nous sommes embarqués comme à la maison, esprit familial, beaucoup de couples avec enfants et pleins de jouets aussi bien dehors qu'à l'intérieur, très bon petit déjeuner avec croissants, baguettes fraîches, confitures, jus de pommes de la propriété.....une halte s'impose, c'est un retour aux sources et tout est dans l'authenticité, pas de chichis, à la bonne franquette ! "This is an old school B and B; 4 guest rooms set in a 16th century building that had been a smithery. The hostess Valerie couldn't have been nicer, little customized breakfast when you want. Plus the location is amazing...almost all of the bars and restaurants in Bayeux are located along Rue St Jean, and this place is right at the east end of it. Also, if you're going on a Normandy tour, the tours tend to leave from the Place de Quebec just a couple hundred meters away."
