"AWA is great. We had a beautiful room with a tub in the second story and a beach bed there too. Great for hanging out looking at the stars. Unfortunately the beach was not good due to storms that had just hit. There were debris washed up and it smelled really bad. Due to the smell I couldn’t use the beds, swing , pool. The smell just gave me a bad headache. We had to go to other beach clubs closer to Punta Mosquito and pay to use beds and have a usable beach. AWA is far from town. About...

"Upon arrival we were upgraded to the unit with the kitchen and it was excellent. I highly recommend booking this unit if you are staying more than a couple of nights. We had a big slider that let in the light and a beautiful balcony with chairs and couch with a view of the water. The hotel is steps from the beach. Each morning we had breakfast, some days off the menu, and other days just the complimentary which consisted of coffee, juice and toast or fruit. Each morning we were welcomed by...

"Because of the season we traveled, there was a lot of algae no access to the beach but still really great experience. I bet when there is no allergy in spring it must be a whole different experience."

"Clean room"

"The property was well maintained and the pool area was very unique and enjoyable to swim in. The location was very close to the central market and restaurants, however the street in front didn’t cal down in noise till later in the evening and then all was calm and quiet. The breakfast was presented as though it was from a Waldorf’s chef."
