Palaces in Isla Mujeres

"The property looks nice but for a so-called 5 star resort lacks attention to details. The pools, restaurants and food are great which give a luxurious feel but the remaining amenities are average. We had a 4 night stay and kids activities like Zipline and Rock climbing were unavailable during the entire stay which raises questions about their family friendliness. Our 6 yo soon got bored after couple of days of pools and beach. We had mentioned our kids birthday celebration on our reservation and there was absolutely no acknowledgement when we entered the room which was disappointing. They never replenished in-room snacks during the entire stay. The rooms have a silly see through glass separating the bathroom which causes privacy issues for a family room. The wider good areas of the beach are reserved for elite guests and they sat empty. Rest of the guests were crowded in a narrow strip of the beach. A 5 star all-inclusive family resort needs to provide better service. I'll skip this one the next time. "

Could improve: cleaning excess seaweed; during a week stay, 2 days they didn't cleaned the room even though the "sign to make up the room" was on place ( makes me think there's not enough room cleaning supervision or is faulty); not all swimming pools were heated."

"The property was so pretty. Room was always cleaned and stocked up. Staff was super friendly and made sure you had a good time. I went for my birthday and they made sure to make me feel special. "

"The experience was great all the way around! I went for spring break with the family and there was plenty for all to do. The food was great and staff in all areas were so polite and friendly. Plenty of activities during the day and shows in the evening. There were scheduled events every day if you wanted more to do than just relaxing the pool or beach. I’d 100% recommend!"

"We came here with 2 babies and a 4 year old and grandparents. Everyone had an incredible food! Food was great! Service was excellent! Nothing felt too rushed! Pools and hot tubs were very accessible and I love that it’s not a huge resort so it was very easy to get around with children! "
