"Perfect spot in Oban. Steps away frm Oban Distillery and the waterfront. The hotel itself is behind and above a beer garden and whisky bar w over 300 whiskys on their wall to try!! Staff was great and helpful. Beds king size and comfortable."

"The staff was great. They offered lots of helpful information about the area. One of the ladies yelled at my husband because he mispronounced Oban, and I love her for that! This place is great, a convenient location, and really quiet. I like places like this that are just a little bit off the main route because they're not in the hustle and bustle, but close enough to it. They recommended some great places to eat, as well."

"Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again"

"Really a very nice hotel in a picturesque setting. Very nice rooms, very nice and comfortable beds, clean bathroom with nice hot shower. The best part of the property are the owners, Peter and Shaley. Extremely accommodating and friendly. Cook you a wonderful breakfast. Also Peter makes the best pizzas and burgers. Overall a wonderful experience. 6 stars.would definitely come again. Thanks for your hospitality."

"A bit old and dingy and cramped, but clean. There was no info sheet in the room so difficult to find the WiFi password. Not very private and quiet as it was more like an Inn with a number of other guests in adjacent rooms that one could hear. The owner met me at the door which was a nice touch. Parking was great. Price for a quick one night stop and early morning start was about right."

"Our stay at Invercreran Lodge was the most luxurious stay of our entire trip to Scotland. My biggest regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy the lodge. Upon entering the entire place has a signature smell that makes you feel comforted. Plush carpet in the bedroom, 5 star amenities in the bathroom and every detail meticulously thought out. Plenty of outlets right next to the nightstands, black out curtains that are truly blackout, a dyson fan for added air flow (and white noise) and even...
