"Great location in historical area of Siracusa. Right across from water. Great bar and bfast. Would stay again. Love our sea view room"

"Breakfast excellent, with hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff are very friendly. Executive room was very clean."

"The beach options are excellent but the rooms need updating. The hot tubs were not hot and the showers were very simple and old."

"Room very clean, staff welcoming. Roof top terrace a bonus. 20 mins brisk walk to Ortigia. Plentiful breakfast but it would have been good to see real preserves and authentic pastries."

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas. "Overall a windy experience. Perfect location in Ortigia / Syracusa."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! All personnel was very accommodating and attentive! Breakfast was a buffet style and included a variety of foods to choose from with gluten- free items available upon request- was pleasantly surprised to be offered a gluten-free croissant which was delicious! Also a very convention location in walking distance to many historical landmarks and also to the transportation hub! Would definitely stay there again!"

"Super friendly staff! The location is great - just 3 min walk to the nearest beach."

"It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating."

"Beautiful 5 room boutique hotel nicely located in old town. The staff - fantastic !!! They go over and beyond for you to have a great time. Frederico at the front desk really goes the extra mile for his guests, they all do. Fabulous room with an attached sitting room."

"Amazing place... everyone is so nice and professional... room was amazing and the view from the terrace incredible. Thx again will definately be back."

"All good. Fantastic breakfast."

"This was a unique property out in the country, as part of a thoroughbred horse racing track. You could watch racing from your room. The property was clean but is generally getting tired and needs refreshing. The lobby area is noisy and that cascades down the halls and to the rooms. The pool areas are nice and well kept. The breakfast was wanting, with most items running out."

"Overall the hotel was very nice and in perfect location. We would definitely stay again. Some items they could improve. The reading lights above bed did not work and there was no other source of light except the huge lights for the entire room. The shower floor was super super super slippery. Both my husband and I almost fell several times. It was so bad while mid shower I couldn’t even move because I knew if I went either direction I was going to fall. Being it is so hot, and considering...
