I do wish it had a continental bkfast but each suite has a kitchen so really no need i guess. The lighting in the sitting area in room needs improvement. Other than that it was great. "We are frequent guests at the Umstead. It is one of the best hotel/spas where we have ever spent time. Very professional staff, clean, well decorated, beautiful grounds with walking paths. Heron’s restaurant is on Forbes best rated list. Well worth the price of admission!"
