"We did the breakfast we didn't have a chance to use the outdoor pool. It was quiet. None running up and down the hall, being loud. Our room had a coffee maker but no pot to brew coffee in."

"Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by the lovely Sean who chatted to us for a while before giving us our keys. We were already blown away by the property even before getting to our room. Our room was lovely and clean, with views of the patio and lake. My grandson was amazed at seeing such a great shower and he couldn't wait to try it out! The only problem we had was that the toilet seat kept loosening itself every time it was in use. I tightened it up many times but dudn't mention it to reception staff until the morning of our departure, owing to my grandson not wanting to be disturbed following his super long journey from Florida to Oklahoma and then onto Stoney Creek with us. All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Although the bar did appetisers, the only meal we partook in was breakfast - the choices were varied and more than sufficient for our needs. Any queries we had were dealt with by the super friendly and helpful staff which was appreciated by us all."

"We had to leave our house for the night while we were having some work done. We packed up 3 teenage girls while dad wa was still at work and rushed out the door. They were very calming. The lady at the desk when we arrived was super sweet and got us some extra blankets so we could pallet the youngest. The kiddos enjoyed the pool while I was able to relax a little. We all got up early due to headed to work and the breakfast was amazing!!! Large variety and the kids loved all the extra toppings for the waffles. The front desk lady also gave me a goody bag to take to work. There was Shampoo conditioner lotion soft blankets great pillows. All together very pleased. Only small issue was tub didnt drain very fast but was no real issue."

"Was a nice hotel for the price range. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and one of the better ones for the Wyndham chains. My reason for 4 stars actually happened before our arrival. When we reserved the room we gave the required credit card info for the resignation. But elected to pay at the time of check-in. Roughly 45 minutes before our arrival they tried to charge the card we used for the reservation and this was even before the 3PM check-in time they have. Unfortunately for them we keep our cards locked unless we are actively using them. I don't think this is a Hotels.com thing or even a Wyndham thing. But I do think it may have been this individual hotel. Why it was done I did not ask, but I did think it odd for LaQuinta hotel under the Wyndham banner to do something like this. Definitely something to consider on future trips."

"We had a great overnight experience. There are some things that could be improved upon that would make it excellent, for instance: general maintenance issues (scuffed walls in the hallway, broken hot tub) no bedding for the pullout bed, even upon asking for it, but overall, the grandkids loved the pool, the rooms were spacious and provided plenty of space for all of us and it was close to Royals Stadium."
