"The staff were very friendly and tried their best. However, a recent storm (two weeks before) had devastated half of the hotel, destroying the kitchen and dining area and removing several roofs. Not so nice if you are used to excellence and attention to detail in everything. Resort is in need of TLC at a minimum or renovation at a maximum to make it worth the price. All of the cushions are either worn out or torn with the cotton pocking out or zippers not closing... I would not recommend booking any...

"Right on the beach! Our room had a view of the ocean, too. It wasn't too busy when we were there so they upgraded us to a deluxe room! Very nice people work here! "The hotel was good choice as we had renter car and could go everywhere on the island. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The ocean was not the best beach in zanzibar but this is not the hotels fault. "

"Hotel was closed for renovations and they didn’t inform us before we arrived. We had to look for an alternative place to stay at night and Expedia was not helpful either with finding another hotel. I would never recommend this place because of the lack of communication and inconvenience caused! "

"WOW just wow!!!! We loved our stay at this small boutique hotel. Beautiful and wonderful staff. We traveled with our 1.5 year son and it was perfect. We will recommend it to all who are looking for a slice of paradise. "Tuna Lodge in realtà è inaccessibile. Al mio arrivo il "manager" mi spiega che c'è un'altra lodge della stessa proprietà poco distante, "Caveman Lodge" e quindi mi sistemerà lì. Il mio soggiorno non è stato male, Caveman Lodge è molto caratteristica, tetto e porta di paglia, io ero al piano rialzato e per accedervi una scaletta di legno (per portare il bagaglio mi hanno aiutata!) avevo un bel terrazzino con divanetto e tavolino....non go avuto problemi ma sarebbe giusto un aggiornamento!!!!"
