"Very nice hotel with friendly staff. It’s just a short walk to the restaurants and shops, including the Floyd Country Store. The rooms were large with nice amenities and comfortable beds. Hot breakfast was good too. I’d definitely stay there again!"

"I appreciate the consistent quality of Holiday Inns, however, I do wish they would consistently offer breakfast as part of your stay. Breakfast is listed in the amenities, but is not included; a buffet breakfast can be purchased for an additional fee. The hotel was clean and the accommodations were quite comfortable with the exception of the small refrigerator not having a freezer section. The staff were friendly and lovely and I enjoyed my stay. My room had a lovely view of the Appalachian mountains to get me excited for my day of exploring."

"The bed was comfortable and it appeared clean. Thankfully I am tall so I could grab the curtain and pull it off the top of the window frame and it covered the window. However it was just a piece of unfinished fabric😳 Location was near hospital👍, beds were clean👍"

"The front desk staff was very courteous during check-in and check-out. The room was very spacious and clean. I had a 1st floor corner room. Although I would stay at this hotel again, I hope to not have that room again. It was right by the back exit and it was quite loud when the door opened and closed. No sound barring walls at all. I normally don’t sleep well in hotel rooms because my bed at home is the best. But the pillows were super comfy and aided in restful sleep. "

"The room was "okay". It was probably better suited for a single male on business versus a couple or family. The cleanliness was decent. There were no vending or ice machines available. The air conditioning wasn't powerful enough to reach the bathroom (which did not have a fan). The towels were horrible (like small strips of sand paper). The noise from the highway was loud and constant. I called ahead to make arrangements for my dog that we were bringing along. However, I was accused by the front desk personnel of not informing them and was told I would have to pay extra for him (which I had already agreed to when I called). Finally, check in was at 3pm but our room was not ready until 6:20 pm. Over 3 hours late is not exactly what you want when you've already been in the car for over 5 hours :("
