"We had to extend our stay an extra day after both getting food poisoning at the food court place up the street. We had a full day of being hideously sick. When we contacted the staff it was all very matter of fact from them. They added an extra night and that was about the extent of their help. No checking up, no asking if they could be of any help, no nothing. They were friendly and welcoming up to that point, but the indifference shown after we were both so ill was quite astonishing. "

"We had a wonderful stay at OPO Hotel in Brussels from April 21 to April 23. The room was excellent, very clean, and well-maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing after long days exploring the city. The location is the most important thing, as it is located in the middle of a busy area; however, the room was very quiet, and I could not hear anything outside. The front desk staff were outstanding — very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help....

"Location, cleanliness and price are great… however, they advertise that they have air conditioning and it just does not work. There was a fan in the room when we arrived. We complained after 24 hrs that the AC wasn’t working, we were given another fan and told it “takes time” to get cool. It was over 80 degrees in the room and so uncomfortable. Probably great in the fall and winter."

"Fantastic location between the Brussels Central train station and the Grand Place, both just steps away - in the heart of the main tourist area, full of shops and restaurants. Lots of stairs up to the first floor where the elevator was located but the most helpful staff carried my heavy bag both up and down with a smile. Being in an historic building, the room is awkwardly shaped but the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. They even gave us free...

"Beautiful boutique hotel in central location to everything. Steps from Brussels central station. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Front desk staff were friendly. Would return to this hotel if I’m back in Brussels again."

"Great location, but minimal/basic room (Double Room King) comparable to dorm room furniture (not very comfortable). Room also had squeaky floor boards."

"Hotel was fine, electronic check in is great and easy. Staff unresponsive to issues at the property though. My air condoning was broken in a heat wave and it took hours to sort out - they wanted to send a technician into my room past 11pm (23:00). It took threatening to leave for a new hotel to get them to finally just give me a room with a unit that wasn't just actively spewing hot air; though the room was unfortunately quite a lot worse than my original booking. Not nice to waste time like...

"Breakfast was good and continually restocked. Lovely fresh pastries and bread. Reception staff helpful. Quite large room overlooking the street but it was not noisy. The hotel is in a good location and next to a metro station. Tram 10 from midi (Eurostar) station 4 stops. "
