Excelente servicio. Virginia y Alejandro fueron muy profesionales, amables y de gran ayuda.Casa tipica de Jerez del IXX, con patio central, muy bien conservada, estilosa y fresquita. Silenciosa y muy limpia. Ubicación céntrica ideal. Definitivamente recomendable.

Bien situé dans un vieux quartier proche du centre 😊 c’est une ancienne maison avec patio mais pas d’ascenseur donc pour les personnes qui ne sont pas très mobiles à déconseiller et réserver un parking est indispensable 😊

Ik zou er zeker teruggaan!Wij hadden een korte stop en hebben niet kunnen genieten van het ontbijt.De eigenaar is top, gepassioneerd en geeft volgens mij de juiste tips. Ook als je op een uur toekomt dat hij eigenlijk mag vertrekken.Ik kreeg ook snel en handige antwoorden op mijn mails voordien.Ik was niet zo blij met onze kamer op de benedenverdieping net aan de patio - mr op 1 onoplettende gezin na, hebben we zeer rustig kunnen genieten van onze korte nacht.Er wordt dus wel degelijk gevraagd om de rust te respecteren en hier doet men dat dan blijkbaar ook. We weten al Wij waren met de auto. Ze hebben 4 parkingsplaatsen vlak aan de deur. Dat is zeer handig een een must in vele Spaanse steden(Reserveren!). Wij hadden het geluk dat we op een uur toekwamen dat je beetje verder kon blijven staan zonder te betalen. Dit gaat natuurlijk niet als je meerdere dagen blijft. Gezellige kamer leuk dakterras waar men in hoofdseizoen blijkbaar ontbijt. Je kan de kathedraal zien.Zeker tof om even uit te rusten of van het prachtige avondlicht te genieten. Wij werden vr ALLES TOP geholpen dit kom ik nog weinig tegen.Opgelet gps stuurde ons door een wirrewar van kleine straten terwijl het makkelijker kon+ in donker naar militaire luchthaven- gn paniek ander vlakbij Voor mij voelde het aan als thuiskomen en dat hoop je beetje bij deze sympathieke adresjes. eigenaar is wijn en Jerez kenner!. Je hoort het vr ons een echte aanrader alles is hier top georganiseerd, zalig. echt vakantie Danke

Great character. Welcome glass of sherry was a nice touch. The room was a bit odd in that it backed onto the breakfast area (used when it was raining) but didn’t bother me for a one night stay. View from rooftop was lovely.

El personal muy amable, me dieron copa de vino de bienvenida a elegir entre varios tipos diferentes, y me guiaron para visitar la ciudad y cenar en los mejores sitios. La localización del hotel perfecta, en el centro sin ruidos al rededor. También ofrecían varios servicios interesantes, además de ayudarte sobre la visita turística y gastronómica a la cuidad de Jerez.

Location and friendliness

Spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, the receptionist was so helpful, offering all manner of advice and tips on bars, eateries and sights. He also kindly booked us onto a bodega tour. We stayed in a penthouse, which was spacious enough and well appointed. The location is absolutely fab. Literally 2mins walk to the cathedral and 5mins to the main square and so many fab bars and restaurants.

Lovely, quirky, traditional Spanish property with a beautiful roof top terrace. Close enough to bars and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy the property’s peaceful location (without the noise). Maria and Pablo are amazing, spoke excellent English and went out of their way to help us plan our visit to the MotoGP. We loved staying here - if you like small, traditional and friendly hotels this is the one for you.

Hübsches kleines Hotel in teils verfallener Umgebung. Sehr freundlicher Service. Schöne Frühstücksterrasse auf dem Dach mit Blick auf die Kathedrale. Unsere Zimmer waren klein, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit kleinem Duschbad. Allerdings verfügten Sie über keine „echten“ Fenster: Diese gingen auf den geschlossenen Innenhof! Keine Frischluft!

Good for a short stay

Service was excellent. Alejandro was friendly, helpful and a very good person. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and was decorated in keeping with the old town. The room was clean and well serviced. The bathroom was a wet room. The room was very small and had no TV although wifi worked fine. Location good for getting about Jerez.

Excellent service from the staff with all the emails before the stay, enthusiastic to help and accommodate the guests. The location is the best, 5 minutes what to almost everything. The small boutique hotel with lots of character and updated amenities. (I.e.: shower water pressure is very strong, outlet and light switch are right next to the bed). The only small negative is the room soundproof is not the greatest, you can hear people in the hallway, but that is a good trade off for the characters of an old building. Love the place, will stay there when we come back to Jerez.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war ein muffiges Loch im Innenhof ohne Fenster. Man bot uns dann ein "Paradisezimmer" für 25,-€ Mehrpreis pro Nacht an, welches wenigstens ein Fenster hatte. Kein TV, keine Minibar, sehr eng. Für den dann gezahlten Endpreis hätten wir sicherlich bessere Unterkünfte in Jerez bekommen mit dem üblichen Standard Nie wieder

We stayed in September and early October 2018. The staff and owners were so very kind and helpful as I was traveling with my elderly mother. We were supplied, free of charge, things that we had forgotten/lost; hats (it was 100 degrees during our stay), a phone charger adapter, an umbrella, and great advice about transportation etc.. Small things but made our stay hassle free and felt like home. We will stay again and hope to soon! Thank you La Fonda Barranco for a lovely visit to my mother's homeland.

Hidden gem in Jerez

We loved our stay at La Fonda Borranco! Alejandro is a wonderful host who clearly loves Jerez and knows a lot about the area. The hotel is a lovely old house with modern comforts, 5 minute walk from the centre of town. Breakfast is large and the coffee is great.

Quiet location a short walk from the town center. The staff was very helpful and gave a lot of recommendations on restaurants. Clean room with nice decor, also you get a view of the cathedral from the roof top terrace.

Very Personal Approach

This is a small hotel with a very personal approach. The staff will go out of their way to make you enjoy your stay. They have even helped in finding and booking a new hotel in another city. Highly recommended.
