"We had just stayed for 5 nights at the Homewood suites in wilmington north carolina and what a difference. The one in bel air is definitely older. Our room had a strong mildew odor that was very off putting. Even our dog didn't like the smell. This room didn't have a desk like the other one but it did have 2 TV remotes. "We were given a smoking room initially which is absolutely disgusting. And then when we got in the room it felt so dirty that it was hard to feel comfortable. We tried watching TV but that didn't work and we both needed showers but the bathroom felt so awful that there was no way we would feel clean afterwards. There was also a lot of hair that didn't belong to either of us around the bathroom and all over the towels. I know it's a budget place but it doesn't take a lot to make sure the rooms...

"This facility is in need of a remodel. It is showing its age and really needs a face lift. The staff is was exceptional. There was a problem with our first room and we were moved to a room for the night. The next morning we were moved to a room comparable to what was book. The staff is doing the best in a facility that needs help. This is my third stay on the past 6 months. It is convenient and the staff is great."
