"We had a very restful stay at Qing Pu Villa. it is in a beautiful corner of Jingsuo island. The team took care of us very well, led by Lysand. Food was superb and the rooms are beautifully furnished with adequate facilities for the cold. Ly Sand is warm and friendly, even carrying our 2 month old baby who was fussy while we enjoyed our meals. The staff dried out our shoes with a warmer before we left and they were delightful to wear ! This is a hidden gem!"

"What a cool property on Erhai Lake. I didn’t know what to expect and the hotel was a fantastic introduction to Dali. The food was plentiful and delicious, the staff was courteous and professional, and my room overlooking the lake was awesome. Moonlight, my direct contact, was very good in keeping up with me and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Disappointing Management & Unmet Standards - Refund Promised but Delayed The property failed to meet basic accommodation standards (specifically regarding cleanliness and persistent cigarette odors). Upon my immediate complaint, the owner explicitly promised a full refund in writing, and I checked out on the same day. However, the refund process via Expedia has been unnecessarily complicated. While the natural scenery in Dali is beautiful, the management here was a significant letdown."

"Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Breakfast is served at 8:30am everyday. The location is a bit inconvenient unless you get there by car. "

"The condition of this property is very poor. The rooms were dirty. It was said to be non-smoking, but there were people smoking inside the building due to health issues. I cannot be around cigarette smoke. There were animals inside the building and the property was not what was on the photos do not stay here."
