"Very nice and friendly hotel. The bartender was super nice for my daughter’s 21st birthday. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We wished the hot tub was larger or there was another one available instead of the small kiddie pool offering. We came for the beach, and we had a wonderful experience and very comfortable stay."

"The staff were helpful and professional. They were attentive to your needs. The breakfast could be better. The grits did not taste like grits. They tasted as if they were mixed with cream of wheat. The sausage did not taste like sausage. Additionally, the hotel should have lotion in the rooms. It has refillable containers with shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. It should add a container with lotion. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return when we have an opportunity to do so."

"It was great. The sheets had a stain but they changed them immediately. The pool cabanas need to be cleaned but overall we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Property itself and room was clean and mostly well maintained. Bathroom had some drainage issues in the shower. The biggest problem here is the lack of security in the parking area. You must pay for parking here and there are no cameras which is a major security issue in a high crime area like this one. Our car was broken into in this lot on this property and there was nothing that could be done due to the lack of cameras and security overall. Unless the property is planning on adding security...

"Last year we came to Wilmington for the first time for a vacation. We stayed at this hotel. We like it so much that we came back this year to Wilmington again for a vacation and made sure we got to stay in this hotel. Staybridge East is situated off a busy road just far enough away from traffic noise. It's located just a few miles from Wrightsville Beach, very convenient. "The hotel is nice clean and the beds were comfortable. Had issues with the thermostat but we fixed it. The breakfast buffet is good. Waffles eggs bacon sausage bagels biscuits and more. Coffee offered all day and delicious. We will stay again."
