"Overall our stay was very nice, with a great location in the middle of downtown. The room was clean, beautiful, and ideal for a couples getaway. As the hotel got busier through the week they did stop giving us bathrobes and water in the room, which was disappointing for such a steep price point. Additionally, the opened up the pool to the public during our stay which disrupted the serenity of the whole bit. "

"My partner and I spent four very comfortable nights at the Drayton in March. Everything about the Drayton is marvelous. Welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable, clean facility, unusual and charming lobby, excellent food and bar, splendid rooftop lounge. On top of all this, the location could not have been better. "

"The location was a plus for us and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there were several stains on the floor and a cup under the bed. We didn’t feel that the hotel met our standards for cleanliness. The microwave didn’t work which was a major disappointment for kids and there were lines on the TV which made the playoff games hard to watch. Overall, average stay for us at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District."

"This hotel is in a great spot right next to the river in historic Savannah which I’m assuming is what justifies the price of the rooms, which are seriously average. Walking in to the room, it has the feel of a very cheap hotel with harsh spotlights and cheap tiles. The bathrooms need upgrading desperately and the room felt dark and cramped. There was a bottle of wine plus two bottles of water on arrival. I’d have gladly opened the wine, but there was no corkscrew in the room! The whole trip felt...

"The distance from location downtown was excellent. The restaurant on the top of the hotel was beautiful and the view was phenomenal."

"Wonderful Breakfast and dinner at Rhett Restaurant. The Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We had a great stay at The Alida and our room was beautiful and very quiet. Everything went smoothly."

"I’m not happy with the condition of the bed. NOT BAD BUGS. But I did find a one live and one dead bug in the bed and the mattress car was covered with hair. I asked for a clean bedding and they were quick too . There was no conditioner in the shower. Facing E. Bay St. in Savannah on the third floor wasn’t very noisy. The breakfast was very good though."

"Honestly, some good features, but our overall reflection is that it was not worth the money spent. We traveled with two little kids, so here were a few considerations: the two full beds room does not allow for a roll away. We immediately upgraded to a king and got a rollaway and had one kid sleep on couch. The room we upgraded to had fresh dark stains in the carpet and food that was ground in carpet. For dining, you should know before you go: limited breakfast options for grab/go or healthy...

"Great place, great accommodations, great staff. I would suggest that the hotel change their shower heads for an effective and powerful pressure. Currently they have spring loaded shower heads that activate when the water comes on and it’s very confusing and undesirable. Overall the place is modern, close by and the parking garage is across the street. Parked in the garage for close to 36 hours, paid only USD 17.00 , which is a bargain."
