"The entire experience was terrible. The staff wasn't pleasant or willing to help or assist. The rooms were old and tired and smelled like a care center. Only a few of the outlets worked. Our rooms were never cleaned during out stay. We requested an iron and the front office staff was really put out with the request. The hotel has nice amenities are but not available for the guest. I would never stay at this hotel again."

"This is a small, comfortable hotel, with limited amenities but beautiful views. The hotel faces a charming children’s park which is so fun but also, children in the summer play late into the evening and it can be quite loud. The rooms were warm with no AC or fans to support an unusually hot summer. The breakfast was good with some warm options from the kitchen including eggs, an omelet or pancakes plus the typical breakfast spread of breads, yogurt and cheeses. "The Hotel Braunbar was clean and convenient, if not the most charming hotel we stayed at. The room was quite small. It included a fan, which was essential without A/C. The location is quiet, a little down the street from the central park area. Breakfast was good. The pool and sauna were nice, but the pool was a little overrun with children in the early evening. "I had a beautiful stay here. The location and view of the Eiger from the hotel terrace are amazing. I wish they would allow visitors to sit and relax there past 9 PM but I guess it makes sense to keep it quiet for the surrounding hotel rooms. The breakfast in the morning was also really good. The hotel has a fan in the room but the room was still really hot so maybe a portable A/C would be nice to offer guests in the heat of summer. Overall I really enjoyed staying here."
