"My family stayed at The Avenue II for 4 days in May. It had everything we needed for our beach trip. The beds were perfect, the room was large for 2 adults and 2 toddlers and very clean! We had a FULL breakfast everyday which held down our meal expense. The indoor pool was delightful for my rambunctious toddler granddaughters. There were so many nice extras to our stay, to many to count! The staff was very friendly and kind. Thanks again! Peter for your kindness throughout our stay. It would have been nice to have the hotel shuttle running at that time. My grandchildren were not fans of walking back and forth to the boardwalk during our stay. We can’t wait till next year to return to this wonderful hotel/motel. The Avenue. "

"This stay barely gets an approval… The advertised breakfast and fitness room were in the next door property - so using them was beyond a hassle (so I did not). The room’s door did not have a deadbolt, so I moved the couch in front of it to give some peace of mind. After my first shower (the tub floor was warped and creaky) the water would not turn off - thankfully this was a day time shower and someone was available to fix the problem. I am not a fan of leaving a stranger in my room and fixing the issue took quite some time and I had to leave. I am happy none of my belongings were disturbed. The individuals I encountered during check-in/out were sweet and very polite. However, the man I dealt with to ask for a “do not disturb sign” acted as if I was a problem and was quite gruff. All in all, I would say to only stay here if your budget demands it…if you can afford a little more, stay somewhere else."

"Clean, friendly, quiet, and close to everything. Parking was an added bonus - will definitely be staying again!"

"This hotel has people living with dogs and cats on the 1st floor. My room had black hairs all over and in the shower. The hallway carpet is nasty. "

"Had 2 rooms for our family. One was perfect the other had some ants (according to our kids). Great location, friendly staff. No laundry facilities. Everything we saw was extremely clean and tidy. Would stay there again."

"The room was clean, but no one else appeared to be at the motel. I never saw any staff, and the check-in process on line was more stressful than it needed to be because i had to get a code every time i checked in for their message. Since I was on the road, it made it harder than it had to be. I would not go though a third party to book it again."
