Ryokan in Kahoku District

"Beautiful traditional Ryokan with the most lovely hosts running it! Had a great little hot spring for relaxing and the Japanese breakfast was amazing and such a good way to start the day"

"We did not realize that dinner and breakfast was not included even though it said kaiseki meal in the description. One of the nearby restaurants was closed and the other would not seat foreigners. The staff did offer to call us a taxi to take us to a restaurant 10 minutes away, but we ended up eating snacks from the hotel store for dinner. Luckily we were able to add on breakfast the following morning. But our room was wonderful, staff was helpful, and the property was gorgeous."
