The Four Seasons team went ABOVE and BEYOND for our family. Our daughter had a medical emergency on the beach and their team was extremely helpful. They even drove out to the hospital to pick me up and take me back to the hotel when a driver was not available. They then refunded the remainder of our trip. Luckily, we were able to come back the following evening and their team was able to re-instate our reservation and get us back in the same room. We are very grateful and can't wait to come back!

Everything was wonderful, right from their welcome to the rooms to the amenities. Loved the kings pond pool. They had a lovely note and a pastr chocolate pastry for my wife because I had mentioned that she was starting a new job. Just wonderful attention to detail.

Do yourself a favor if you have been considering going to this Four Seasons don't wait another minute! It is such a gorgeous property, you literally feel like you are on the ocean and every aspect was first class.

Everything was top notch and as you’d expect from the Four Seasons. Except for the food. It was very inconsistent and disappointed on 3 occassions (especially for the price)

Such a lovely resort!

Pros: This property is STUNNING. The landscaping is gorgeous, and really added a lot to the overall luxury feel of this resort. We stayed in an ocean golf view "superior suite" which was well-located, and had convenient parking right outside our suite block. It also included a 2nd full bathroom with steam shower. The couch in our suite was comfy for lounging, and laundry and ice was very close by. We had our choice of pools to hang out at, as a couple traveling alone, but I preferred the Beach Tree pool, which is the quiet pool. My husband liked the Palm Grove pool w/ the swim-up bar. Both were lovely to spend time at. All food at all restaurants was delicious. I had multiple appointments at the spa, and highly recommend a Lomi Lomi massage with Kyle! Amazing. Fitness facility is also lovely, and seems to be most crowded earlier in the morning. Plenty of machines to go around, although the weight room was a bit small, and got crowded easily. Cons: Some updates could be helpful. I would expect bidet toilets at a resort of this level in Hawaii. Also, we were placed in a room that adjoined to a room that had small children in it. We could hear *everything* through the adjoining doors, and they woke early! A few days into our stay, a family with small kids moved in to the suite above us, too. Slightly less noisy, but still audible in our suite. I'd give the resort an 8 out of 10 because of these issues, but would happily stay there again, 100%.

Great stay!

We had a great week at the FS Big Island. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Overall a beautiful resort with amazing views and amenities. We really enjoyed the tennis and pickleball facilities. The tennis pros were all very friendly and experienced, giving my wife and I very useful pointers. The lap pool and the spa (steam / cold plunge / sauna) were also a highlight of our trip. Our only gripe is that the restaurants are just mediocre. The service at the restaurants are great but the food overall is just OK. We enjoy going to the FS Maui and eating at Spago and Ferraro’s. The restaurants at the FS Big Island here definitely are not in the same ballpark as FS Maui yet they are just as expensive. Also, one other complaint is that there’s really only one bar with a TV and it doesn’t open until 5PM Hawaii time. So there’s not really an option to enjoy college football or NFL games.

The Four Seasons is truly exceptional. The grounds are beautiful. Laid back and elegant It was deeply relaxing and the staff was so attentive without hovering. This was a 5 Star experience in every sense of the word.

Beautiful hotel. Did have some construction which was mildly intrusive. Staff was excellent. Wait staff at main restaurant was exceptional and went out of the way to make it a memorable experience.

Amazing property and amenities provided. The place was definitely beautiful. Worth the price however I doubt I’d be returning. The service was very hit or miss. Half the workers were super friendly and accommodating and the other half seemed like they were annoyed or didn’t want to help us. For example requests such as moving pool chairs closer or getting towels seemed like the most bothersome request that we ended up doing it ourselves. I’d recommend everyone to at least stay there once but too mediocre of a service to be a yearly destination. Thanks for the great memories and the amazing Kings Pond.

Beautiful property in secluded area. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Would have preferred to have a solid door at the toilet room instead of louvered. Signage at the resort is terrible. Few signs that say "to Lobby or Reception." Paths should have names. We got lost multiple times. Need more restaurants open for lunch.

The Hotel met and surpassed expectations. My beachfront room proximity to the water and the view of sundowns was spectacular. The pools are remarkably set. Food although a bit pricey is good enough where you don't have to venture outside the hotel. The icing on the cake was the service and friendliness of the staff which unsurpassed. I found Hawaiians in general to be endearing and welcoming. I give this place the highest recommendation and while I don't normally repeat, I will be coming back here.
