"My husband and I just completed a 5-night stay here and had a wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze, very friendly helpful staff, and our accommodations were simply wonderful. Proximity to town is ideal — not too far, nor too close. We stayed in a 1 bed 1 bath condo with a full kitchen. We really enjoyed being able to buy local Peaberry coffee and shop at the local grocery to brew fresh ground coffee and make breakfast every morning while looking out at the ocean and listening to the...

"Overall a very good experience. The condo was clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the lanai. The condo was very hot and the ceiling fans would only run on low. Would have been nice to have a higher speed on them. The floor fans helped."

"This was a great property. The grounds and condo were beautiful. Small amount of beach stuff to use. Washer and dryer came in handy. It would have been nice to have some tupperware or foil in the kitchen. The walls are thin and we could hear every step made upstairs. There is a nice quiet bay within walking distance. "

"This property exceeded our expectations. It had everything you need in a good condo: a modern kitchen with reasonably new appliances, granite countertop, good A/C, washer/dryer, lots of utensils. They even gave us a rice cooker. There was a water leak the day we checked in, and hence, they gave us a different unit. They could have done a better job of communicating that issue. But they did handle the issue promptly when we reached out. Definitely a great location - next to beach, close to main...

"This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Kona Coast. The facility was clean, spacious, and had a lot of features (such as the restaurant, bar, and pools). It was easy to check in and out and the staff were all very nice. The main problem we had was that we tried to use some of the amenities very close to their closing times. We saw nothing posted regarding the hours, so we went to both the bar too late to get the drinks we wanted, and to the quiet pool, where we ended up being chased out by security....
