We were pleasantly surprised as we had no idea KC had casinos. We were traveling through from TN to Denver. We would definitely it key stay here again and stay longer. The rooms were clean - the property was well kept and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Love the Casino and hotel! Always smells so good. And the train theme is awesome. Most of the restaurants were closed. Wished they would stay open longer especially the Mexican one with the big bar. For breakfast the Primo restaurant was delicious. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very nice and the room was spotless. Decor throughout was upscale and all staff members I encountered were friendly. The restaurants were all good to great with the exception of the Burger Joint, where I encountered slow service and an unkempt dining area. The casino was tight, but offered a good variety of games, although the games in the non-smoking area were dated. I had an issue at check in but Kesia took care of it to my satisfaction. I have already recommended this property to others.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Casino was interesting, but I don’t gamble. Outside of the hotel, there really is no where to walk to. Was further from downtown then I realized when booking. I could see where this would be a good place for large groups.

We enjoyed the liveliness of the casino. The casino felt clean and comfortable. The breakfast shop was great with incredible donuts and thoughtful staff. The hotel side left much to be desired. The staff was fair, out of a five day stay we asked for our room to be cleaned twice. The first time was great, the second time a stack of towels and a trash bag was left on our sink. The rooms were very dusty along the walls and next to furniture and in pictures. Like visible dust that had been collected for quite a while. The bathroom was decently clean. The carpet was gross and just felt unclean even with us wearing shoes. I would never in a million years classify it as a “resort”. The daily resort fee is not worth it. The breakfast is not free. There are small bottles of water that is provided. We would not stay here again due to the lack of attention from staff and the dusty rooms.
