I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this property. The room was significantly overpriced given its condition and the overall experience fell well below the standards I expect from a Marriott-branded hotel.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted— the man at the front desk made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. As we made our way to the room, we noticed wallpaper peeling off the hallway walls, which immediately raised concerns about the property’s upkeep.
When we entered our room, the first thing that stood out was a chair covered in large, unsightly stains. Later that evening, after returning from dinner, I discovered serious maintenance issues in the bathroom. Water was leaking from around the faucet where it connected to the wall, and when I attempted to pull the diverter for the shower, the entire faucet detached. The shower curtain was ripped, and the lack of transition trim between the bedroom and bathroom created a safety hazard.
Even my 13-year-old child expressed concern upon entering, remarking, “I hope we don’t get bed bugs.”
Overall, this property did not reflect the quality or care associated with the Marriott name. The condition of the room and the dismissive customer service were unacceptable. I expected far better and left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
