"We chose this hotel for the proximity to the baseball field. Hotel was good. We received a room in the lower basement level. All was decent. Rooms were oversold due to construction, so we ended up in an ADA room. I honestly don’t know how it would be ADA compliant aside the bathroom. So if you have that need, I’d look into it. Otherwise, we had a good stay and would stay again. "

"The outside of the property does look a little bit run down, but landscaping and such was up kept. The inside property was clean along with our room, which was pretty good sized. Breakfast was good. Probably my only complaint is that you cannot check-in until 4 o'clock and they seem to be cleaning the rooms up to that very last minute. "

"1. Unsafe location 2. The rooms on the website have to be AI Generated. They look nothing like the pictures when you get there. Very sketchy. The first room assigned did not look clean in, addition a large picture above the headboard was laying on the bed. The 2nd room the door was already open. The excuse was "housekeeping must have forgotten to close it. The top deadbolt was missing a part. We were told maintenance could come right away and replace the missing part. The 3rd room smelled stale and there was water damage in the ceiling. 3. When we arrived to check in there was a disgruntle employee in the lobby causing a commotion because she was just fired. She was yelling and causing a scene. That left an uneasy feeling with the state of the world. We didn't know if she would return. 4. The manager gave excuses and kept saying "this can happen anywhere." He did offer to put us in a suite but at this point it was time to go. He agreed to give us a full refund."

"The room was not clean—there were noticeable stains on the couch and the walls were in poor condition. The pool was also very unclean and did not appear properly maintained. The shower had no hot water at all, which was extremely frustrating. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for a Holiday Inn Express."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. It appears the property is undergoing upgrades, as maintenance crews were working in the rooms during my stay. The hallways had noticeable cigarette and marijuana odors. I also noticed the pet policy has changed, and pets are no longer allowed. The room was in below‑average condition, with no trash cans and visible stains on the walls. The location is convenient for attending sporting events. With continued maintenance and cleaning, the property has potential to improve."

"We had a very nice clean room. The staff at night were less helpful (not rude, but not going out of the way to help you), but the morning/afternoon staff were amazing. Very nice location, we spent the morning walking the plaza, could get everywhere on the plaza just by walking. It was a great stay, I recommend."

"when I checked in I was told complemetary breakfast in the morning. Went down and they said it was 12$ for breakfast. The price was not the problem. It was being told free then charged."

"Really enjoyed the place and the fact that it was quiet and not crowded with people. Check in was a breeze and the decor was great. I loved the bedding, and it was really comfortable and the shower was a gem. Shopping was really close, so that was nice. The few thoughts and suggestions… 1. Parking. While there was parking in the back, there seemed to be a vehicle there all 3 days with a flat tire that took up a valuable parking spot for guests, so having that spot would have been nice as every other spot was taken and twice I had to park on the brick area to the right of the entrance. I understand street parking if needed, but a broken down vehicle taking up a spot when parking is limited is huge. 2. A suggestion of a mini fridge in the room. Many times when you’re out and about and visiting restaurants, you may want to bring food back, or toss a water bottle in there, but you can’t. 3. A little extra lighting, would have been nice. I understand keeping the feel of historic, but if one is trying to do their hair or makeup it’s a little challenging to do so. 4. The coffee and champagne and few snacks were definitely nice, however on Sunday morning, there were no clean cups nor water in the coffee machine. And this was around 9:30. Due to this, we ended up going out for coffee. Other than those few suggestions, it was wonderful and would return again. "
