"Staff was great, very friendly. Everything was very clean - rooms, bathrooms, dining area, etc. and all of the basic essentials were supplied (soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer). They gave us each a bottle of water at check in which was nice and the pool area looked nice, we just never had time to enjoy it because we were busy. Breakfast was great - a good selection of items and everything was yummy. The elevators and hallways are stuffy and have an odd smell, probably because the room air...

"I booked a room with a king size bed. That's what I paid for. I check in and they didn't have any king size bed rooms available. Not happy. My husband and I slept awful!!"

"The room itself was very clean. However the bathroom was not. Found hair on the ceiling, countertops, and in the shower upon arrival. There was also hair on a couple of the towels as well as if they were not switched out. The tubs paint was also peeling in our room. We were only there for the weekend though and the towels were switched out for us which was great. So we made the best of it that we could."

"We had a great stay here. Like the other reviews indicate, the property is rather outdated and the breakfast has been discontinued. There doesn't seem to be heat in the rooms, but they also don't say that they have heat in the listing, only AC, which was great for us. The staff was very nice and you really can't beat the price and location. The only time we used our car was to go to Yorktown. There is a breakfast place right beside the hotel and we walked to 2nd St Bistro down the road twice....

"If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....

"The first room we were given the floor was not vacuumed since the previous guests. If you had to speak to the staff all but 2 definitely made you feel like you were bothering them. But on a positive note we had plenty of hot water for showers."
