"It was a lovely place to stay, the host was great, answered all my questions and the place was very clean. A very safe residential neighborhood, the highway is a little bit away, but the ocean is closer and every day you can go out on your balcony/porch and watch the whales and the dolphins."

"The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Great central local position on a great quiet street. Bit warm downstairs as we couldn’t turn the fan on but have the light off at bedtime for the kids. Close to airport, shopping and places to eat. Place was very spacious. "

"What a wonderful surprise this little B&B was. We truly hated to leave. The room was just spectacular being right on a little cliff above the ocean. The hosts were so accommodating and the breakfasts were very good. The room was clean and the area quiet. We can't wait to go back. "

"If you want an experience and not a hotel, this is a good place to consider. Don’t complain if you wanted a Marriott; it’s not the Marriott. The hostess and host are kind and genuine. The lodging is nestled in a neighborhood, but it feels almost like a jungle. The shower is outside and is reasonably private. Don’t mind the geckos lingering nearby as you enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast."

"The host was very friendly, and shared some great tips for visiting the Hilo area. Check-in/out instructions were helpful and easy to follow. The building itself is a little tired and could use some updating/cleaning. The unit was well equipped and cozy. "The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6. The staff is excellent and very friendly, Had the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel. Slept really well.
