"Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. I cannot think of anything we did not like. The location is beautiful, the room was fantastic, the food amazing (quality, variety and presentation), and the staff kind, professional, and efficient. We were welcomed and sent on our way by Dilshan. All waiters at the restaurant were wonderful but we would especially like to acknowledge the service of Chinthaka.
