"For the price this is a GREAT option. Centrally located, amazing breakfast/lunch place downstairs and all the required basics for an over night stay. It isn't fancy but makes up for it in local charm, history, fair price and location. Only issue for me is walls are thin ( or some people are exceptionally inconsiderate/loud -- I'd suggested posting asking guests to be mindful of noise and disturbing others. I stayed 3 night - 2 of those I didn't get much sleep ( next time i'll bring ear plugs in...

"The room is ran down and not very clean. missing tiles broken slider door broken closet. No rack for Hanging wet clothing."

"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...

"Pros: 1) fully functional kitchen, which will saved money from eating out for our family of six. Hotel had appliances you can borrow (rice cooker, blender, etc.)..oh and a washer and dryer...I definitely overpacked. 2) we got the 2 bedroom set-up. 1 room with king sized bed, 2nd room with two single beds, plus a pull out sofa bed in the living room...every member of our family had a place to sleep 3) large pool, although not deep 4) cheaper menu's at the resort compared to outside...

"My family and I really enjoyed ourselves at ISO. Safe was really nice and the hotel had a beautiful pool area with plenty of space to lay out and relax. We will definitely stay here again."

"Staff was great. Our AC was not working on a hot July!! They did come and replace it the next day. Responsive. Our ceiling leaked when someone showered. They came to check right away but needs more research to resolve."

"There is no AC in the units. If you have any issues do not expect a return call. These are older units and we had many items that did not operate in the room — the fan (essential) and the tub (essential). Property is nice and view is amazing on the Cliff"
