"NO AC so be prepared for that. Get a portable unit in June/July or it will be a bad trip. The view was nice from the balcony. Area pretty nice. Room showed it had a washer/dryer but did not. So we had to do our laundry at the machines which cost. The fridge door is rusted out and we had to kick the lower part just to make it close. "We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. "Beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, sundries. Updated HVAC units, but used open windows and natural breeze to keep unit cool. Pool was clean and accessible when my wife used it. The unit was close to a very busy and noisy road. this was the only drawback, with road noise at night the only issue if you left the windows open. But this was overshadowed by the view and the well maintained unit."
