"We had a really nice stay. The place is setup nicely and much bigger than expected so plenty of space for whatever you bring with you. The beds are comfy and the showers really good. There is easy access to Bassenthwaite for water sports and access to the hills behind and around for walking and running. The only thing that might confuse some people is that despite the name "Bramble Cottage" it isn't a standalone cottage, it is a set of rooms with other accommodation above and to the side. You...

"Great place to stay. The location was fantastic and although not luxurious the room was exactly what you need after a day on the fells. "

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "
