"Bathroom shower unit were rusted, sinking plumbing functional but pipes fallen apart and old, dirt along the entire bathroom baseboard, shower curtains dirty or really old-stained. The bedroom area lighting was so dark we dare not disrobe to sleep in the bed. There was “no signal” or remote device for the tv. No one never answered room service. The seating sofa had dirty or permanently stained fabric. The smell of the room was old and musty as was it from the moment we entered the hotel. ...

The surrounding area is a bit run down all businesses have bars on windows and there are transients walking about, however that is to be expected for a downtown urban area. "

"We stayed for one night and it was busy when we checked in. Staff handled it all well and with a smile. We noticed the signs that showed a soon remolding of the hotel. Yet everything was very clean and room was stocked with everything we needed. Noise from the highway was loud at times. Breakfast was very nice"

"Great location-few minutes walk to old town albuquerque..comfy bed..hot water in shower..good amenities..their was a slight moldy/sewer like smell at times but with older hotel sometimes it happens..good made fresh breakfast but as a vegan would be nice to have option for tofu scramble or plant based item besides toast and oatmeal that is usually only breakfast item on menu at hotels and rarely plant based milk..that should always be option with all the lactose intolerant people and vegans. "

"The staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were a nice convenience. Easy walking to good restaurants easy parking. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again myself."

"When I arrived I was given a second floor room. The elevator nearest to my room was at the other end of the building. It did not work, staying on the first floor. The door would close after '2' was pressed but it did not budge. Going back to the other end of the building (nearest the lobby), I used the elevator there and went to the second floor, walked down to the room and found that it was not clean (had not been made up).
