I called them to confirm on my way from Nairobi and they advised they were closed due to covid. I made this reservation two months in advance and they had my email address, yet NEVER INFOMED ME THAT THEY WERE CLOSED. I am expecting a full refund! VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION

You don’t come here for a 5 star hotel experience- you will stay in a manyatta - a small free-standing hut in the midst of a garden. some beetles will share tge room with you, don’t worry, it’s nature. a simple bed, one old but clean towel, a bed with sheet, ask for a second towel, make sure that there are moskito nets. the five star experience was opening the door in the morning and looking at mt kilimancharo in the morning sun. they serve a simple breakfast and dinner for some extra shilling, sell tusker and one kind of wine, and turn wifi on at night. we had the shared bathroom option- the toilets were clean- the showers, too, although only one a bit warm and a bit emotional- but we were in the middle of nowhere. supernuce people, the entire place reminded me of our compound in south sudan with MSF last year - we stayed for three nights and did safaris in amboseli etc and enjoyed it a lot
Christine and the rest of the staff were very courteous. Always looked after us. professional staff.
Please try and make sure that every door has it’s own key? Otherwise great experience looking at mt. Kilimanjaro from my window and taking awesome photos in the morning.
A éviter donc!
Totalmente recomendable.
We didn't stay there for longer because the best rooms they have where overbooked. So the manager decided to give us another room which is not only less comfortable. He was Overwhelmed with this situation. The rooms where dirty and far away from the actual camp. We luckily got a place at Kili springs which is a very nice place next to it. The also do the Safari Service for the Eco camp.
