"The hotel is located in a nice part of town and is appealing from the street view. Valet parking was easy, affordable, and staffed by nice and friendly individuals! The lobby of the hotel was inviting and clean. Because of only two elevators in a 14 floor building, wait times were a little long at times the elevators the hallways are clean and well lit. I slept like a baby in one of the most comfortable beds. Nice clean sheets, pillowcases, and comforter! While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are well situated and plenty of space is provided.
The cleaning staff does a great job and are very responsive. The supervisor of the cleaning staff on duty during our stay was super nice and knowledgeable. We had an issue with our room key and she was able to solve it in no time. I did appreciate the front desk gentleman also coming to the 10th floor with a replacement key. We enjoyed our two night stay and would return even though we didn’t have a great experience checking in. That was the only downside to our entire three days in Brooklyn.
While the front desk was friendly and allowed us to stage our luggage there until 3 o’clock check-in and allowed us to check in an hour early into one of our two rooms, the second room was promised to be ready for us at 3 PM. After making several trips up and down 10 floors, to check on the room, our 2nd room was made available approximately at 5:00/5:30P.M.
All in all, I would still recommend the Brooklyn Holiday Inn! and hotels.com👍"
