"Very comfortable clean room . restaurant and bar was in the same building. Food and staff were great. location is close to saratoga race track. made for a great day. will stay again"

"The room seemed clean enough and was adequate for one male guest (me). My wife and kids wouldn't like it here. The outside areas need attention. There were tall weeds along the walkways. I don't think it would take much to cut those down."

"The room was comfortable, but had a kind of musty smell. It would have been nice to be able to open the window. Excellent location and plenty of parking. It was clean but could have used new carpets and paint here and there. It would have been nice to have more information about the shared bathroom. It had 2 toilet stalls and 2 working shower stalls all in one unisex bathroom that was similar to what you might find in a college dormitory."

"Convenient location for Auburn and Skaneateles touring. Quiet as a church mouse. Historic old inn, former boys school built in 1851. Breakfast is enough to get you by. Bar and restaurant are only open for special events but you are welcome to enjoy the dining room and porch with your morning coffee, pastry and yogurt. You will probably be joined by the owner and others. Good place to chat about the area and local history. Or they’ll leave you be if you want your privacy. ."

"Just a cute,cute place. Everything Was good. Only tiny suggestion is have coffee already made. We got up around 8:30am and just assumed coffee at least would be available. But excellent value! Free parking. We would come again, but maybe mention coffee, or maybe it had a timer? They do say breakfast is self serve. Thank you!"
