"I wouldn’t recommend"

"The hotel was right beside the airport but signs showing which hotel was which from the back would be helpful. The staff was very pleasant to work with. I appreciate the room had a Bible in it. Because I booked with a 3rd party app & not with the hotel directly we had to pay additional parking fee for the days we were gone. But the convenience was worth the extra charge in my opinion."

"Pillows kind of suck"

"The hotel is a little dated but the staff made up for it. Check in was easy and the man was very kind. Breakfast was delicious and staff were constantly cleaning and restocking the buffet. Very hard workers! The room was quiet and the pool was large!"

"We did not arrive until 3:00 a.m. in the morning from driving all day and all night. When I got there I had to call to get somebody to even come to the door waited a long time. When they finally came to the door they smelled of chemicals and was all over the place and very rude. I would not recommend anyone to stay here very unprofessional and not clear at all lobbies look like it needed a good cleaning and smelled very terrible of chemicals."

"There were a few HVAC issues with the room though the frontdesk and maintenance teams were prompt and courteous. Service was friendly albeit a bit slow as it seemed they may have been a bit understaffed. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable; no significant shortcomings. "

"This hotel opened its restaurant at 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, for breakfast for guests who were booked for a train excursion that boarded at 7 a.m. What excellent service. We talked to other people who had stayed at other local hotels and were told that some hotels did not alter their hours to accommodate this important event (the train ride to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States). Kudos to the Doubletree in Newark, Ohio."

"The breakfast was lame. Powdered eggs are nasty. The sausage was mediocre, and the pastries were less than fresh. It took 45 minutes to check in because Expedia neglected to send both reservation numbers for the rooms and when I got to my room it hadn't been cleaned. I went back to the desk to get a different room which they gave me, but it was not the cleanliness quality one expects for a 4 star hotel. "

"We booked though Expedia. They never sent reservation to the hotel. No rooms available. No help from either place. Un expectable and very disappointed. I don't think I will ever book though Expedia again."

"Breakfast was good, we didn’t know til we got there that outside guests can not enjoy the pool with a paying room. Kids swimming in the hot tub with no supervision. S we sat in our room someone knocked did not state who they were and walked right into our room while I was changing. When I went to confront him he was retreating down the hal quickly "

"Great night away from home. Kids loved the pool. I love the pool is Salt Water instead of Chlorine. "
