"The room was so clean, the beds were so comfortable and we played cards down in the common area with friends who also stayed and had a nice time while we were there. We didn't wake up in time to enjoy the complimentary breakfast but the coffee in the morning was tasty and they had a wide selection of coffee creamer."

"The property is dated and needs some updating, but the room was decent and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the breakfast food seemed like it was taken and heated up out of a box. The property is super close to restaurants and not too far from hocking hills, so there is a lot to do nearby. It seems a little expensive for what you get, but with the cost of living nowadays, it’s a decent place to stay."

"I have used the Cherry Valley Lodge, now the Cherry Valley hotel for several years. The hotel must be suffering from the lack of capital as the parking lot, sidewalks desperately need work, there are plants, weeds, or small trees, growing in some of the gutters at the top of the roof. I am told that food service is not that great. At one time the food was quite good. I had breakfast there three times and the food was filling and it was buffet style so I can’t really share much about the food....

"The weeds around the building are out of control. This makes the building look shabby. Very inexpensive to correct. Every other aspect was very good."

"The hotel offers a Park and Fly deal so the lot was a bit overcrowded. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was not included so we just got on the road."

"Advertised coffee shop on-site. Completely shut down. Advertised rooftop area for outside relaxation. No such thing. Ice machines on two floors empty/not working. Other than that, the staff was nice."

"The hotel is very well located in downtown Lancaster and close enough to Columbus and Hockinghills state park. The rooms are clean. Breakfast spread is nice and housekeeping is daily."

"For some reason my room card just would not work in allowing access to the room. Numerous times I had issues. But every time the staff was very helpful in rectifying the situation."
